Alzheimers, the Dreaded Disease

The people who bought our home when we downsized, were not quite of retirement age yet. They had considered a condo first but our big house was just what they wanted with a big lawn and 3 garages. He worked very hard to landscape it and changed the double garage to a triple garage to house their trailer and pickup so they would have it to go to Texas in the winter. Then she began to have funny symptoms and was diagnosed with alzheimers at about 63. She has changed rapidly and now they are selling the house and moving into a retirement apartment. He is not ready for that but it is necessary to keep taking care of her. It is so sad.
