Another Moving Day Coming Up

In about 3 weeks, our daughter and husband will be moving to our town. It will sure be nice to have family close by. We are at an age where we need more help. We can't mow the little lawn we have, anymore. There always seems to be some little chore that needs to be done and hard to fit into their schedule when living in another town. It will be neat to be able to go back and forth across town to visit and probably will eat out with them now and then too. It is all quite exciting.

Moving to Georgia

Posted by Gaylord Campbell

Moving to Georgia wasn’t really in the plans but when I got offered a job just outside of Athens it was really tough to turn down. It was the perfect position at a great freight company and I knew I could build the experience I needed to move forward in my career in a couple of years. I found a great little house out on a dirt road (no, seriously) and looked into internet with http://SatelliteStarIntenret.com and a security alarm, too. I like being a bit off the grid to be honest with you guys and I know that it won’t be forever which is a really comforting thought. Athens is really cool, though, all on its own so I don’t really mind where I’m living now! I thought it would be a lot more country and a lot less cute college town, to be honest, so it’s been a much better experience than I ever would have imagined. I like my new home and I may even stay here even when I’m done with this job!

Fat Burners

Oh my, summer has been good to me. Picnics, family reunions, holidays and the wonderful food have put the pounds on me. What I really need is to find out which are the best fat burners and get some. I was really disappointed to learn that 95 percent of fat burners actually do not work at all. So I decided I would research on the Internet this time and first check out customer reviews of some of them. I also would like a guarantee that I will get my money back if it doesn't work. I am tired of paying out good money for bad results. I find it is to my advantage to check in with those who have done all the investigating for me and can tell which are the best and save me money at the same time.

The Farm

One of our grandsons and his wife and two boys now live on a beautiful acreage. They have apple and cherry trees and have added chickens and a rabbit to their livestock. The chickens are really laying eggs now so they are searching for more recipes that use fresh eggs. They found out one was slipping out and laying eggs in the bunny nest. I thought that was hilarious. Their youngest is only 1+ years and he was short enough to spot a nest of eggs. Good for him :0)

POS Hardware

Whether you have been in business a long time, or just starting out, you want the best POS Hardware you can buy and at the best cost to you. You can put your trust in a company that has dealt in POS hardware since l999. It does not matter what you need, they have it. Perhaps you are new in the business world and need the whole POS setup including both hardware and software. You can find it by checking out the Internet. Even if you only need a barcode scanner, they are ready with whatever you need. It is always good to deal with a company that others have put their trust in for so many years.

Nausea

Have you ever been nauseated and could not eat? The sight and smell of food made you physically ill? My husband has felt that way now for about 3 weeks. The hospital could not find anything that would help or a cause for the nausea. However, another Dr. suggested a patch that can be put on your shoulder that will take care of that. I am on my way now to the pharmacy to pick that up and I sure hope it works.

Rising Gas Prices

Wow! The price of gas started dropping. It was good to see. I was doing a lot of driving to the hospital in a nearby town. The gas tank was going down fast. Then the price of gas also started dropping. Last night I happily filled up the tank at quite a lower price. Tonight as I drove by that place gas had gone up 4 cents a gallon. Sure glad I filled up last night.

Blood in Urine

I knew there had to be something seriously wrong when my husband started passing blood clots in his urine. I have known people who had kidney cancer and this was the first sign. There can also be cancer of the bladder, as well. However, kidney stones may be the culprit as he had lower abdominal pain until he passed 2 clots this morning. If this continues we will go to ER. You can't get a doctor on Sunday any other way. Now the bleeding has stopped so we will wait a little while and see what happens.

Old Family Pictures

Time to sort through some old family pictures. There are quite a few prints of the same picture so sharing those with other members of the family. The cameras were certainly different in those days. They did not take the nice clear pictures we have today with digital cameras. It is neat with digital to take the pictures and then put them in your computer and send them on to others. Everything is changing so fast you can hardly keep up with it.

Surgery?

My husband had to see a neurologist this week because of severe nerve pain in his neck and down his back. He is now taking some pills and wearing a soft collar. He had to have an x-ray of his neck and an MRI. We'll find out Wednesday what will happen next. I think it will probably be surgery because it appears a vertebrae may be pinching a nerve in his spinal column. Not looking forward to that and he sure isn't either.

Hot Weather

We had about 2 days of decent summer weather. The wind finally came in from the NW and brought some drier air with it. It was quite pleasant yesterday. It was also nice this morning. However, now we have had to turn the air conditioning on again. I had the windows open for about 4 hours so got some fresh air into the house. Then the humidity started up again. It has been a really hot summer. I hope that doesn't mean a very cold snowy winter.
