Apple Releases Safari Web Browser

Apple Inc. launched a version of its Safari Web Browser for Windows based PCs on MONDAY. This pits it against Microsoft's Internet Browser and Mozilla's Firefox. This free program is Apple's latest move to expand its reach beyond its Macintosh computer and, st the same time, attract converts to its products. It has previously made its iPod media player and iTunes Store compatible with Windows. Safari has captured about 5% of the world's market share with more than 18 million users. It was released a few years ago for Apple Macintosh computers.
