Boxing Hall of Fame

Roberto Duran and Pernell Whitaker were chosen to be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Duran raised his hands skyward giving thanks for a remarkable boxing career. He said he wanted to thank America for opening their hearts so he could enter. He wanted to thank every one in the United States who saw him grow into becoming a world champion. Whitaker said it was unbelievable. That it was a wonderful feeling, a dream come true. He said he knew it would come, but not this soon.
