Hot, Muggy Day

Here we are, another hot muggy day that makes the corn grow and we shrink into the cool home, office or car to get away from it. The rain has been coming but probably not enough. So many sections of the country are in bad drought and the wells are beginning to pump sand. Not a good thing. Animals and people are dying of the heat and it is no wonder. The swimming pools are full to capacity and now I hear a lot of them are having problems with contamination of the water. Too many people I guess. They have to use so much chlorine to kill the germs that it just has to burn the kids' eyes. I don't know what the answer is. Every town is building these gigantic swimming pools now. They are really nice though.
