Baby-Teeth decay
It seems that tooth decay in young children's baby teeth is increasing and they are worried about it. It would appear that pre-school children are eating way too much sugar. They are trying to educate parents about the importance of early dental visitss and dental hygiene. Another good thing to give parents is information on good and bad snacks. It is good for kids to drink juice and milk, but they should be more aware of how much sugary or acidic beverages the kids are consuming. It is a problem to have milk or juice on the teeth overnight. Parents can gently clean their baby's gums with a wash cloth and should start tooth brushing as soon as possible. I've always heard it is bad to give a baby a bottle at bedtime and let them drink from it till they go to sleep or wake up and drink more from it during the night. From what I understand, milk will hurt the teeth and cause decay sooner.
