Brush Your dog's Teeth
Do you brush your dog's teeth? Does he have awful breath? It could very well be your fault. When your dog is a puppy, you can get him/her used to brushing their teeth by just rubbing your finger over their teeth. They get used to that and then when you introduce the toothbrush, they aren't scared of it. Use a regular dog's toothpaste. I get mine from my veterinarian. You should also take them to the vet once a yyear to have their teeth cleaned and have his mouth checked for broken or abscessed teeth. this can lead to a buildup of odor-causing bacteria too. I use an oral care dog food that has just done wonders for my dog. she is over 8 years old and has clean smelling breath and good teeth. Even the vet seems surprised.
