Christmas in Branson, Missouri

Branson is all aglow with so many beautiful Christmas lights this time of the year. They also have all Christmas shows and we saw the Miracle of Christmas, an outstanding production. At sight-sound.com you can go in a see some exclusive videos and photos of the show. It will cause you to want to go there and see it. We were fortunate to be able to travel on a bus because of our local bank. They took us to all the best shows and best shopping malls. We also ate at great steakhouses with a variety of foods besides steak. One of the top shows is called SIX. It is six brothers that sing acapella but not only that they make all their instrumental sounds with their voices. You would swear there was a band behind them but it was the men making all the instrumental sounds. You have to see and hear it to believe it, especially the brother who did the drummer. Just amazing.

Family Thanksgiving

I joined the family of my daughter-in-law this year. It was so much fun. We laughed and laughed and visited with everyone. There were there grandmothers there including me and 4 of my many grandchildren. The women and a couple of the men joined in to paint a designed board that could be hung in your home. I have mine here in the office. We also played the most fun game that I have played in a very long time. There was much laughter and also thanksgiving for all the good things God has given us to enjoy.

Christmas Tree

I decided we have had our little fiber optic tree long enough. It is time for a new one. I just got a new one with 2000 lights on it. It is three feet tall. I like to put it on a little table. It turns all around all the time and changes about 4 different colors. It is easy to keep from year to year. Just put a cover over it and sit it in the spare room on a desk. It is ready to go so will plug it in after Thanksgiving.

Garage Door Opener

The neighbor lady is having trouble with her garage door. It will not always open and sometimes it will not close. I told her she should probably get a new battery put in it. They just built the garage not too long ago though and the garage door opener is fairly new. So that might not be the problem. However, just because a battery is new, doesn't mean it just might not be a good one and she may need another battery. Guess we will see. The landlord is going to check it for her.

My sister's birthday is coming up soon and so is Christmas and I have been looking for unique gifts to give her. Pizza Buffet

Tuesday night I went out to the Pizza Ranch. They have a buffet now 7 days a week both at noon and at night. I had not been there for about 3 weeks so it was about time. I ran into some old friends I had not seen for a long time. They said they hadn't been there either for awhile so it was really neat running into them. I made a pig of myself and tried a piece of 5 different pizzas plus dessert pizza with vanilla pudding. It was all delicious.
