Our Dog Holly

We just love our little dog Holly. She is a Boston Terrier and is over 12 years old now. We hate to see her aging and feel she will be our last dog. It is hard to get a dog sitter if you want to go away for longer than a few hours. However, we have a great neighbor that is willing to come over whenever we call her. Here she is enjoying some new dog food we got for her.


She really likes it and can't wait till we feed her.

Bake me a Cake

Here is the future baker of America. He has his baker's hat on and is ready to go. I hope he can make me a delicious chocolate cake. I have been hungry for one. He is ready and willing with his little kitchen to make all kinds of goodies to eat. He's having a lot of fun.

Nothing to me is better than going to the bookstore and having a great cup of coffee. Most of the time I read and play games, but at other times I will study for exams and chat with my friends who work there. This is one of my favorite pastimes and I am frequently seen at many shops.

Quick Easy Supper

Making a roast for supper is one of the easiest meals I can make. I brown a nice roast and put it in the crockpot. Set it on low and a few hours later, add onion, carrots and potatoes. The house always smells as wonderful as the food tastes. You can't beat the gravy you make from it. It is easy cleanup too after supper because you don't have lots of pots and pans to clean. I am planning to make one for Sunday night. Thinking about it makes me hungry :0)

Tired Little Boy

This little guy started walking just awhile ago. He was one year old a few months ago. He has learned he can climb up on almost anything. That is enough to keep a Mom busy as though she didn't have enough to do already. He and his 3 year old brother play together so well. You can see he has been having a good time and is ready for his nap.

Supper Out

Just got back from the Pizza Ranch and boy was it good!!! I had two of the newer pizzas and salad bar. We had peach Cactus Bread for dessert. My husband always has broasted chicken legs, mashed potatoes and gravy. Tonight they had green beans for a change and they always have macaroni and cheese for the kids too. You always have plenty of tasty food to choose from there. It is close to home too.

These two little brothers are the best of friends. I hope they will always continue to be close as they grow up. They have such good times together. Cold Weather

It is no time to remove the sheet blankets from the bed yet. One night it is so warm, you have windows open and almost sleep on top of the covers. Anniversary Supper

We had our belated anniversary supper tonight. Good friends took us to a new Mexican restaurant about 20 miles from home. We had some really good food and fellowship. Tried a new stir fry type platter that was excellent and have enough for lunch tomorrow. Weather was perfect, 70 degrees and lots of sunshine.
