Humidifiers

Humidifiers are wonderful. We would not be without a humidifier as the moist air holds the heat better and makes the house so much warmer in winter. There are many other good reasons to have humidifiers. There are many styles of humifiers, both warm and cool mist. They help with dry skin, asthma and even sinus headaches. I prefer the one with digital controls so that we can monitor the humidity in our home and keep it at a uniform level. It is also great to have one that is easy to clean and keep clean. Fall Colds and Cough

Besides all the stuff that is causing my husband a great deal of misery from allergies, now he has caught a cold. He is feeling quite miserable and weak. We have some good cough syrup that has helped him sleep well. That is one good thing. However, now he just came and told me he should see our doctor so I am calling the doctor to see if I can get him in to see her. He has such a deep cough and seems to be getting worse this afternoon.

Dog Food

I did not realize that dogs can be allergic to certain dog foods. They can eat the same dog food for years and then all of a sudden react to it. Our little dog has been eating a very healthy dog food for a couple of years. She absolutely loves it. However, she started scratching her ears and while doing that also scratched her face. We had to put a collar on her to keep her from doing that. Now we have to change her dog food too.
