Holly

I sure do miss my little Holly. She was the best little dog we ever had. It is too bad that dogs don't live longer. She was a Boston Terrier and she learned tricks so quick.
We really hated it when she got sick and we knew we would have to take her to the Vet and have her put to sleep. She was so much company and fun.

Family Dog

Our family dog was a little Boston Terrier named Holly. We got her when she was a tiny pup. She was different in that she had an all white face and one blue and one brown eye. She trained very quickly and learned all kinds of little tricks. She would dance on her hind feet for a treat and several other tricks. She loved company and wanted to play with everyone. But then she got liver problems and she got listless and slept alot and finally got so she didn't want to eat her regular food anymore. We took her to the Vet yesterday and had her put to sleep out of kindness and love for her. We miss her.

Our Dog Holly

We just love our little dog Holly. She is a Boston Terrier and is over 12 years old now. We hate to see her aging and feel she will be our last dog. It is hard to get a dog sitter if you want to go away for longer than a few hours. However, we have a great neighbor that is willing to come over whenever we call her. Here she is enjoying some new dog food we got for her.

She really likes it and can't wait till we feed her.

Veterinary

Taking our little Boston Terrier, Holly to the Vet this morning. She has been drinking way too much water. She has also been losing weight. That isn't good. She plays just fine and eats good though. However, I just can hardly keep her water dish full. So we know we need to get some professional advice.

We don't want to lose her. She has been the best dog we have ever had.

Holly's Christmas

Holly, our little Boston Terrier, enjoy a few extra dog treats over the last few days. She sniffs at the Christmas decorations that are on the floor but she doesn't bother them. She knows things are different but I don't think she can figure out what. She will just go about her daily work of sleeping in her favorite chairs until its time to eat again. She loves to have half a piece of cheese every day for lunch. I give it to her in bits so it lasts longer. The Vet said it is good for her stomach.

Holly's Visit to the Vet

Our little dog, Holly, loves to come in here and sleep by me and my computer. She is getting older now and can she snore! She gets so loud in the living room, she will almost drown out the TV. My husband will holler at her to wake her up. It's kind of funny. She can go to sleep anywhere and she owns the house so she has several chairs she sleeps in and a pillow on the floor. Her favorite place seems to be behind our rocking chair.

Holly's Eye Infection

Holly's eyes just kept getting red and more red so we took her to the Veterinary. He said she had some infection around her eye and gave us some salve to put on her eye lids. She had scratched at her face too so we put salve on that too. It is a week today so I think we can try taking off her collar and see how it goes. If she rubs her eyes again, we will have to put it back on. She is on antibiotics too and another pill every day twice a day. But we are glad to see her looking better and feeling better too.

Holly's Birthday

Holly will be 12 on the 25th of this month. It seems like yesterday that we got her as a little puppy. She is different in that she has a white face instead of the black mask most Boston Terriers have. She also has one blue and one brown eye. She has been having some infection around her eyes and the Vet says a lot of dogs have allergies at this time of the year. She had it last year too. We have 2 pills to give her and some lotion to put around her eyes twice a day for a week and hopefully by next Wednesday it will be cleared up. It looks better already.

Boarding our Dog

We boarded our dog for 3 days and they treated her so well. She was so happy to see me though when I picked her up, she was running and dashing around. She is out like a light now in a favorite chair sleeping like a rock. I bet other dog's barking kept her awake more than she was used to as she sleeps alot during the day at home. She is a Boston Terrier and the best dog we have ever had. She is about 21 lbs and 11 years old. I hate seeing her get old as would like to keep her the rest of our lives. It is too bad pets don't live longer.

Veterinary Clinic

Today I took our little dog Holly to the Vet. She got her nails dremiled and a flea treatment. She also got her parvo shot for the year. She is very healthy but she got a breakout on her leg. So he gave me some antibiotics to give her twice a day to clear it up. It was time to buy more dog food too and by the time I got out of there I had spent close to $94. Wow! It seems the longer you have a dog, the more expensive they get but they give you so much love and company, that it is well worth it.

Dog Food

I did not realize that dogs can be allergic to certain dog foods. They can eat the same dog food for years and then all of a sudden react to it. Our little dog has been eating a very healthy dog food for a couple of years. She absolutely loves it. However, she started scratching her ears and while doing that also scratched her face. We had to put a collar on her to keep her from doing that. Now we have to change her dog food too.

Our Pet Holly

It seems Holly, our little Boston Terrier, has become alergic to her dog food. She has eaten it for several years and just loves it. However, her ears itch and her face and she rubs her face till it bleeds. We had to put a collar on her so she couldn't get at it and it is healing up. Guess we have to get a different dog food again for her.

Pet Beds

I have the sweetest little Boston Terrier named Holly. I have been thinking about pet beds because it gets so cold here in the winter. She has been sleeping on an old pillow on the floor up until now. That is okay for summertime but we turn down the heat at night and wouldn't a bed with a warmer be just perfect for her? Also, a folding one would be great for when we go on trips or it can just be moved from room to room at home. The prices are reasonable too.

Our Little Dog Holly

Holly is the best little dog. She goes to bed every night at 10 pm and if you don't go to bed, she sits by you and makes sounds like she is talking to you. Then I know she wants to go to bed. She sleeps on a comforter on the chair in the bedroom and sleeps all night unless it rains. Then she gets nervous and paces the floor until the rain stops. It is raining a little tonight. I hope it doesn't upset her.

Our Sweet Little Dog

Holly is the best little dog we have ever had. She wouldn't bite a flea if she had one. You can take her food right out from under her nose and she won't do anything, no growl or anything. She is so much different than the little dog we had before that would have taken your arm off if he could. She is always glad to see us come home from eating out. I think she smells the food on us and hope we will bring her some. And she is ready to go potty in the garage. She is paper trained which makes it really great in the wintertime when the snow is flying. She is going to be 9 years old this month. I hate to see her getting older. She's really a member of the family.
