Holiday Weekend

We had a wonderful time out at our grandson's acreage. They invited us for BBQ and there was plenty of great food to eat. The little great grandkids have all kinds of room to run and play on their acreage and they were having so much fun together playing on the big swing set. They also played in the new water shower as it was nice and warm yesterday and with a warm wind. They made homemade ice cream later in the afternoon with great rhubarb crisp and chocolate brownies. Everything was soooo good. We passed an exotic animal farm on our way there and home again and saw 3 of the 2 hump backed camels. Seems so funny to see camels in Iowa.

Zoe went along too and had a good time with everyone.

Playmates

It is so much fun to see kids at play. These two little brothers have a great time together. They play well inside and outside the house. It makes it much easier for Mom to get work done when the kids are busy at play. You know they are safe and having a good time.

Ready for Church

Don't they look sharp? They are all dressed up and ready for church. They go to church every Sunday and really enjoy it. They are growing up so fast. It seems like yesterday that they were born and now they are walking and talking.

Easter Fun

Kids really have a good time with their Easter baskets at Easter time. It is so much fun seeing what they got. It is almost a miniature Christmas.

You can really tell they are having a good time discovering all the things in their baskets. They are all dressed up for church too. It is so much fun being a kid.

Veggie Tales are really popular with both the young and old. Here two little brothers are highly entertained watching them.

It is good for them, rather than some of the horrible cartoons they have on television these days. I wish they would have had Veggie Tales when our kids were little. But then, they had the Roadrunner and Popeye and a lot of other cute cartoons at that time.
