Holiday Weekend

We had a wonderful time out at our grandson's acreage. They invited us for BBQ and there was plenty of great food to eat. The little great grandkids have all kinds of room to run and play on their acreage and they were having so much fun together playing on the big swing set. They also played in the new water shower as it was nice and warm yesterday and with a warm wind. They made homemade ice cream later in the afternoon with great rhubarb crisp and chocolate brownies. Everything was soooo good. We passed an exotic animal farm on our way there and home again and saw 3 of the 2 hump backed camels. Seems so funny to see camels in Iowa.

Zoe went along too and had a good time with everyone.

Grammy and the Grandkids

This Grammy is really enjoying her grandchildren. Not only that, but they enjoy her too. They love having Grammy and Grandpa come over and they love going to their house. Grammy has a playroom full of toys for them to play with. I think she got the idea partly from me as we had a room full of things for the grandkids so that they could just go and play for hours.

Feeding Time

It is feeding time for the grandkids and Grandpa is very busy keeping up. They are hungry and he is doing a good job of feeding them. While their parents are moving into a new home, someone has to watch the little ones so they don't get under foot. When it comes time to eat, they want to eat and they want something to eat right now. So Grandpa got busy and set it up so he could feed both at the same time. Pretty handy, Grandpa!
