The Farm
One of our grandsons and his wife and two boys now live on a beautiful acreage. They have apple and cherry trees and have added chickens and a rabbit to their livestock. The chickens are really laying eggs now so they are searching for more recipes that use fresh eggs. They found out one was slipping out and laying eggs in the bunny nest. I thought that was hilarious. Their youngest is only 1+ years and he was short enough to spot a nest of eggs. Good for him :0)

Holiday Weekend
We had a wonderful time out at our grandson's acreage. They invited us for BBQ and there was plenty of great food to eat. The little great grandkids have all kinds of room to run and play on their acreage and they were having so much fun together playing on the big swing set. They also played in the new water shower as it was nice and warm yesterday and with a warm wind. They made homemade ice cream later in the afternoon with great rhubarb crisp and chocolate brownies. Everything was soooo good. We passed an exotic animal farm on our way there and home again and saw 3 of the 2 hump backed camels. Seems so funny to see camels in Iowa.Zoe went along too and had a good time with everyone.

Little Farmer
This little guy and his brother live on an acreage now. He is practicing for when he grows up and is able to mow the lawn with his Mom and Dad. He just loves the farm and now that it is nice weather, he and his brother can get outside and enjoy all the room they have to play in. A farm is a great place to raise kids.

New Home on the Farm
Here is a picture of part of the yard on the acreage where our Grandson and his family have moved. It is a great place to raise kids. They will have plenty of room to play inside and outside. It gives them a chance to get out of their apartment and out into the world and play in the sunshine and also in the snow this winter. They have a beautiful place to grow up. We were on an acreage for 21 years with our children and I know it was good for them.
