Church Today
We had a great time in church today. First we had a good time of singing with the Praise and Worship team. They do a wonderful job with all kinds of instruments. Then we heard a good message. After that we had a fundraising lunch that was delicious. We have some very good cooks in our church. It seems that most church ladies really know how to cook. Most of them have families so they probably get plenty of experience :0)

Church
We had a big blizzard here a couple days ago. It is still wreaking havoc with the roads. The road graders are having a hard time keeping the roads open and clean. I decided to stay home from church this morning. I do not want to take a chance on landing in the ditch. There are so many wonderful Christian television programs on that I can watch so I don't miss out on learning more from the Bible. I would rather be safe at home than sorry I went out on the road when it is only 14 degrees right now.

Church Greeters
This is a 5 Sunday month so I was Greeter again today for the second time this month. Greeters are important, especially when new people come in. They enjoy seeing a smiling face greeting them. We also direct them to the sanctuary and restrooms, classrooms too. It is important to be on time too so you are there before the people start coming. I always like to be a bit early.

Today is Sunday and the Day for Church
It is a beautiful blue sky, sunny day today. It is up to 44 degrees but we have terrifically high winds. I wondered when I went to church how the wind was going to be on the road. Now this afternoon it has picked up for the next 4 hours they say and going to get to 45 mph gusts and hang onto your steering wheel or stay off the road with high profile vehicles. We had a guest speaker this morning and she was excellent. Really presented Jesus to all of us and those that don't know him personally got a chance to do just that. If you die today or tonight where are you going? Heaven or Hell? Jesus is the only way to Heaven, there are no other gods that can get you there.

Ready for Church
Don't they look sharp? They are all dressed up and ready for church. They go to church every Sunday and really enjoy it. They are growing up so fast. It seems like yesterday that they were born and now they are walking and talking.

Our Church
Our church is an Interdenominational church. We welcome everyone to come and worship with us. We are a lively and loving church. Before church, we usually meet and greet everyone, giving hugs and handshakes. Our music is very lively and up-to-date choruses. We clap and dance and sing with all our might. We have a fantastic Praise and Worship group of people, in fact we have 3 of them so they can change off ever 3 months. There is a great drummer, many guitars and keyboard and more. We really enjoy it. We are celebrating 30 years this month and every Sunday has been something special. Skits and music we used to sing 30 years ago. Also a treat after church for everyone. Two weeks ago we had a wonderful pot luck.

Church Surprise
My sister drove up for church this morning. That was quite a surprise. We were to have a guest speaker but she couldn't come so my sister got to hear our Pastor teach. She said she thought it was the first time she had heard him as there was always a guest speaker before when she came. It was a beautiful sunny day to drive up here. She is about an hour away from us. We are celebrating 30 years of the church and celebrating all month so every service has a little something from past days. Had a neat DVD of happenings over the years that was fun to watch.

Church
We have the most wonderful church. It is so full of very loving people. It is an exciting church. We have a marvelous Praise and Worship team. Many of them are not trained musicians but God has given them the talent to play and sing. We have several teams that change off each month, giving each of them a rest. We are Greeters once a month and it is always great to greet everyone coming in and see the children on their way to classes or the Nursery. We have something for all ages. Super Church is so much fun for those 7 to 12.
