Brother and Sisters

My little brother isn't so little anymore.  Neither is my sister.  We had a big party last weekend.  They were both able to attend.  A good visit and a good time was had by everyone.  Of course, pictures were taken.  A great many pictures were taken and I am anxious to see them all.  Many so far have turned out so good.  It is fun to get everyone together.  Some hadn't seen each other in years and some of the kids had grown so much, my brother didn't know them.  It was a lot of fun.

Sister's Visit

My sister came to visit today. Her birthday was the 15th so I took her out for a belated Birthday lunch. We went to the Pizza ranch. It was really crowded with people. I think some companies were having their Christmas party in there. They could hardly make pizzas fast enough for everyone. It is good to see a business doing so well in a small town. We had a great visit and a great lunch.

Chinese Restaurant

We have a new Chinese restaurant in town. It is a great addition to our little town. My sister came up one Saturday and we went to lunch there. It is decorated really cute. The buffet had a great many choices on it and we had a very good lunch. I don't often eat Chinese but I love their sweet and sour and it was so good. I had some dishes I had never tried before and I think the restaurant has a real winner there. We used to have a Chinese place that closed and everyone was very disappointed as it did a big business but the family who ran it broke up and closed the restaurant. It was a big loss to the town so I am glad this new one has opened up.

Church Surprise

My sister drove up for church this morning. That was quite a surprise. We were to have a guest speaker but she couldn't come so my sister got to hear our Pastor teach. She said she thought it was the first time she had heard him as there was always a guest speaker before when she came. It was a beautiful sunny day to drive up here. She is about an hour away from us. We are celebrating 30 years of the church and celebrating all month so every service has a little something from past days. Had a neat DVD of happenings over the years that was fun to watch.

My Sister

My sister is 11 years younger than I am but I think I am in better health than she is. She is going through problems with her high blood pressure and retaining fluids in her legs. I don't like that at all. She has changed doctors and they are trying different blood pressure medicines. She has always had trouble getting her blood pressure down far enough and that is so important. I worry about her.
