Boat Sinks in Amazon

A boat with 100 people aboard sank in the Brazilian Amazon on Sunday, killing at least 12 people and leaving dozens missing. The Comandante Sales capsized before sinking swiftly on the Solimoes river, one of the largest branches of the Amazon. The vessel was carrying passengers we were returning from a party near the jungle city of Manaus. The bodies of 10 women and two men were recovered and several dozen people were unaccounted for. It just goes to show you that you better be ready to meet God at any moment because your next breath could be your last. There are no guarantees of tomorrow.
