Spring Rains

Spring rains are really coming at us this weekend. Sounds like many will be severe. Heard they had a bad tornado in North Carolina. They are expecting snow in many places in the west. The weather is really a mixture. Watching the weather channel. He is telling all about the severe storm watches. Looks like a really wet week next week.

July Storms

We had a terrible rain storm last night. It rained so hard you could hardly see. It blew leaves off the trees. They spotted a tornado about 5 miles south of us. We were getting a bit of tiny hail in the rain and that is a good indication that a tornado is close by. However, they said it only touched the ground for 2 minutes there but I wonder if it did more damage as it moved on East. We got an inch and a half of rain in just a short time. It watered the flowers good though. That was good.
