Washed the Car

I went out to lunch at the local Pizza Ranch yesterday. When I came out, I looked at my red Pontiac and it looked terrible. It was full of dirt, probably road salt too. So went to the car wash. There was someone in there already and one came behind me. So guess everyone had the same idea. We are supposed to have about 2 weeks of nice weather so thought it was a good time to get my money's worth and get rid of the salt that can damage your car. Car looks like new. :0)

Household Chores/911 call

This was one of those days. I washed all the bedding on two beds. Then washed the dogs comforter that she sleeps on. Had to run to the store for cough syrup and sudafed for my husband who has a cold and terrible cough. Got home and made a big batch of homemade rice soup. Next was the kitchen floor. Since my knee revision, it has been sadly neglected. I got it swept and mopped and it looks great. Also the bathrooms got cleaned again. Then it was time to get the mail, so went to the Post Office and got stamps. Decided to wash the car before it gets any colder and freezes the doors shut. Got into the car wash. Door shuts on both ends. Put my money in and it wouldn't take it. Used the cell phone and called 911 and told her my problem and we both laughed and she called the owner of the car wash. He took my money and got it going. I told him I drove to the front thinking it would let me out since I hadn't paid, but the door didn't open. He said it should have. I am just glad I had the cell phone with me.

We Washed The Car

We really should put that down on the calendar or something as it hadn't been washed in ages. I am sure it almost went into shock. We went to the new car wash where they can also wash motorhomes and semi trucks. It does a really good job and has dryers to dry it on the way out. The car shines like new again. We need to do that more often.

What's For Supper?

We have decided to go for TexMex tonight since we missed our regular meal last night. Took the car through the new car wash and it is probably in shock from being washed but it sure does look great. Looks like new and my husband put a coat of polish on parts of it so it looks even better. Doesn't sound like we are going to have any rain for several days just lots of hot humid weather. The central a/c is getting a real workout.
