Betty Crocker Warm Delights

My daughter told me about these and she said they were very good. I decided since I had a coupon for 75 cents off 2 packages, I would try them. I got the Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis and there are 2 in a package. They had 3 different flavors, two were mainly chocolate and one was kind of a spice. She was right! They are delicious little treats you bake 30 seconds in the microwave and the whole house smells like you baked a cake. We added ice cream or cook whip on top of them - YUM! They can be very habit forming so have to watch out and not eat too many. Fortunately, they are small but they have another size that has only one in the package and it is about 3 times the size of the minis.

Pepsi Floats

Ever thought of making a Pepsi float? I like to take just about an inch of Pepsi and fill the glass with vanilla ice cream. Then I mix it up well with a large spoon until the Pepsi is all through the ice cream. It isn't really like a float but maybe more like Pepsi ice cream. You could do it with Coke too if that is your favorite. We just love them on a hot night. I need to get more ice cream tomorrow :0)

Ice Cream Store

We have a great new ice cream store in town and I have been working there until I had surgery on my hand. Stopped in today and got a large black raspberry shake and a pint of orange sherbet twist, yum yum and put them in the freezer for later. It is the very best soft ice cream for miles around. I also gave my 2 week notice since I will be having more hand surgery on June 7 and will be a month recuperation there and then maybe another month with a hand brace like the one I have now. By that time, summer will be over again, won't it? August is pretty hot though. Once school starts, the kids taper off on the ice cream too.

Surgery

Just one more day and then I need to go have exploratory surgery to look at the bones in my right hand. being right handed it is going to be a real challenge for awhile hunting and pecking with my left hand doing these posts, but I will be doing my best to keep up. Gotta get up before the roosters though to get there that morning and the neighbor is going to look after our little Holly, our Boston Terrier. She sleeps alot so she will probably be sleeping when we get home as it is outpatient surgery. Kind of interesting though as they will go in with a very very expensive tiny camera and look at my bones to see what needs fixing. Well I will soon be off to work at my part-time job, serving up soft ice cream that is yummy in cones, malts, shakes, sundaes and banana splits, and don't forget the hot fudge and hot carmel. Come on down and have some.
