Ice Skating Without Skates

That is about what we feel like we are doing here in the frozen Midwest. We feel like we are ice skating without skates. We had a couple days of freezing rain on top of snow. That really made it slippery. Now we have had about 3 more days of rain but we have so much snow it doesn't seem to be going down any. I think it is going to be a long time till Spring and we see green grass again.

Ice Skating

Did you ever learn to ice skate? It looks like so much fun but my feet just seemed to want to go out ahead of me about 3 feet and you know what that means? I spent all my time sitting on the ice instead of skating. I never did learn but I sure could roller skate and loved that.
