My Brother

I am going over to visit with my brother today.  We always go out for Mexican food.  We both love it and is our favorite.  I love to try new things on the menu and have gotten him to try other burritos other than just tacos.  Of course, our favorite dessert is the churros, rolled in lots of cinnamon sugar.  That is always a special treat.  Normally we don't eat that much sugar but you can't resist the churros.  We have a Mexican Restaurant here in town but they don't make them even half as good.  It is a beautiful sunny day to go over to his house after a snowy, strong windy day yesterday and it is warming up some today.

Taco Tuesday

Another Taco Tuesday has rolled around. We have missed a couple of them. My brother spent a couple in the hospital or recuperating. So today we will be able to go and enjoy the great Mexican food of the Taco Johns in his hometown. I wish we had one here because everything they have is good. They have great breakfast dishes too but it is too far to run over there to get breakfast. I would rather go for lunch. They have a huge variety to choose from and often I take something home to have for supper or lunch tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

Mexican Foods

Last night was Mexican Food night at our favorite restaurant nearby. It was a nice sunny day and the rains had stopped. We did see ponds in the fields. The corn has really grown but a lot is drowned out. The farmers will probably have to replant beans instead. There is rain in the forecast for about the next 4 days. We got another inch of rain overnight and scared our dog again.
