Church Dinner

I had a great time at church on Sunday. We have a very good Praise and Worship Group and excellent music. We heard a good message and then afterwards there was food. The men prepared the food this time. They made all the fixings for a wonderful tasty potato bar. Chili, cheese, onions and spices if you wanted to put on top, plus a side of broccoli. There was water and lemonade to drink and cookies for dessert. We always have a host at the table and something to do to help us get to know each other better. It was so much fun and good food and laughs.

My Brother

I am going over to visit with my brother today.  We always go out for Mexican food.  We both love it and is our favorite.  I love to try new things on the menu and have gotten him to try other burritos other than just tacos.  Of course, our favorite dessert is the churros, rolled in lots of cinnamon sugar.  That is always a special treat.  Normally we don't eat that much sugar but you can't resist the churros.  We have a Mexican Restaurant here in town but they don't make them even half as good.  It is a beautiful sunny day to go over to his house after a snowy, strong windy day yesterday and it is warming up some today.

Picnics

Picnics are great fun this time of the year. We are going to have a big one on Saturday. All the families will be there that are cousins. I am making a big bowl of potatoe salad and plan to make a bunch of deviled eggs. Also want to make a peach and a cherry pie. If they turn out good, will be bringing a big pan of Scotcheroos too. They are sooo good. There will a lot of families there so we will have all kinds of wonderful foods. I'm taking caffeine free Pepsi along. I need to find someone with a big cooler though. I have one that is really too small for everything.

Pizza and Chicken

What could be better than lots of salad, pudding, pizza and broasted chicken. Could it be mashed potatoes with it and the best gravy around, green beans, chicken fingers and broasted potatoes too. And for dessert, cactus bread, a dessert pizza and it is really good with vanilla pudding on top. Wash it all down with our favorite coke product or lemonade and you have got some might good eating and leave the dishes to them. That's what we did tonight.
