New Baby Great Grandaughter

Since I last wrote, I gained a beautiful new baby great granddaughter.  She is the first for her parents so they are really happy.  They are enjoying the baby sooo much.  That makes 17 great grandchildren for me now.  What a blessing.

Children Birthdays

There are a great many of my great grandchildren's birthdays in November.  There also are several in December. Three out of 4 of my own are in November and December.  My sister's birthday is in December and my brother's birthday is in November.  They seem to be really popular months for births.  We are all waiting anxiously now for the birth of a little great grandgirl who is due November 24.  That will make 17 for me.  Quite a blessing, wouldn't you agree? Another thing to be thankful on Thanksgiving.

Costumes for Halloween

Three great grandchildren stopped in their costumes.  They had been out Trick and Treating.  Their folks brought them by so I could see them.  I got my camera out and took pictures. I didn't do the best job of taking the pictures though.  It was so cold Kaelyn had to wear her coat.  It was a chilly night for the kids.

Old Becomes New

This is our neighbors old beat up trailer house.  They moved it out Sunday after they moved everything into their new home.  They are finishing up details on the new house.  The landlord is going to totally renew the old one and rent it out.  Our neighbors are so glad to have a big trailer now with their big family.  I don't know how they survived in the little one.  They are very happy.

Police Car

I think nothing could be more exciting to children than a Police Car.  It has so much equipment inside of it.  They love to hear the siren too.  They are having fun for a few minutes in their Grandpa's car. It doesn't seem that long ago when his children were small and looking out the window of his Highway Patrol Car. It's great fun!

Neighbor's Dog

The neighbors have a big loving black Lab dog.  He had to have his pen made quite a bit smaller while they remodeled their new home.  The other day, they were able to put in a new pen with more space.  He has a great building to go into in bad weather.  They put a heat lamp and blankets in it when it gets really cold in the winter time.  We all feed him and he loves the attention.  He's a great friendly dog and loves everyone.

Great Grandchildren

I am richly blessed with great grandchildren.  This past week I gained 2 new great grandgirls thru adoption by their new parents.  They have two cute little boys, ages 4 and 6.  Now they have two girls to round out the family.  They have big hearts to want to give these little girls a wonderful Christian home.  They are young enough not to remember the first hard times of their lives.  That is a blessing all by itself.  If I have counted right, that makes 15 great grandchildren for me now.
