Lunar Eclipse

Did you get to see the lunar eclipse. I did not get to see it but it was on television this morning and I also watched the video on Facebook. That was pretty neat. I like it when they put stuff like that on Facebook and you can take your time and watch it. It was quite cloudy here last night due to rain following a snow storm so you could not see the moon due to the clouds. I don't think I will be around in 2090 to see the next one, will you?

Family

Here is a picture of our oldest great granddaughter. She is going into 6th grade. They sure grow up fast. She looks so much like her mother. I can also see her grandmother in some of her expressions. They live too far away from us and have moved even farther now. It would be nice if they could be closer so we could see them except on Facebook.

Computers and Laptops

We got a new laptop for Christmas and it has really been useful. My computer freezes up every so often and I can depend on the laptop to always be ready to go. I enjoy posting on my blogs and it is aggravating when the computer freezes and I have to turn it on and off. Technology is great. It is wonderful to keep up with everyone on email and also with the grandkids on Facebook.

Grandchildren

It has been awhile since we have seen the latest little new great grandsons. They are growing up so fast. We sure enjoy the photos on Facebook. It is an easy way to keep up with those not living right close by. And with all the winter weather, it hasn't been easy to travel either. It will be nice when it is Spring again and the grass is green.

Facebook Photos

Facebook is really neat. Within a day of our new great grandson, we see pictures of him and his sister on Facebook. Technology is really great. I think we are beginning to take it so much for granted, I do not know if we really appreciate it enough. It is fun to keep up with family and friends on Facebook and they enjoy it too.

More Birthdays

My brother had another birthday November 10. Seems there are quite a few birthdays in November. One of our sons is having a birthday November 23 and for his birthday, he is probably going to get a new little niece or nephew. They don't know which yet but it isn't long now. Just a few more days. Happy Birthday Little Bro. Keep on posting and posting on Facebook.

Microsoft Buys Stake in Facebook

Microsoft has paid $240m for a 1.6% stake in Facebook that values the hugely popular social networking site at $15 billion. Facebook spurned an offer from Microsoft's rival Google, which was also keen to invest in the site. Microsoft will also sell internet ads for Facebook outside the United States as part of the deal that took several weeks of negotiating. Microsoft already provides banner advertising and links on the US site. Mark Zuckerberg started the online social networking site in his Harvard University dorm room less than four years ago. Mr. Zuckerberg, age 23, has indicated he would like to hold off an initial public offering for at least two more years. He rebuffed a $1 billion takeover offer fromYahoo last year.
