Our Dog Holly

We just love our little dog Holly. She is a Boston Terrier and is over 12 years old now. We hate to see her aging and feel she will be our last dog. It is hard to get a dog sitter if you want to go away for longer than a few hours. However, we have a great neighbor that is willing to come over whenever we call her. Here she is enjoying some new dog food we got for her.

She really likes it and can't wait till we feed her.

Bake me a Cake

Here is the future baker of America. He has his baker's hat on and is ready to go. I hope he can make me a delicious chocolate cake. I have been hungry for one. He is ready and willing with his little kitchen to make all kinds of goodies to eat. He's having a lot of fun.

Leave Your Home Secure

Coffee in the morning.

Thanks for the guest post by Kristofer Bartlett

Nothing to me is better than going to the bookstore and having a great cup of coffee. I simply set the home alarm system (adt san francisco) at home and head out for the entire day, coming back later at night when I'm about to go to bed. Many people do not realize that when you read, study, or even play games or work online that coffee can help you a great deal. It speeds up your mind to incredible speeds and helps you to focus and think faster. I love cinnamon swirl coffee the best because it smells lovely, is not too sweet, and fills me with warmth on a cold day. I also love mocha coffee in either caramel or raspberry due to the ! massive amount of sweetness in it.

It gets very cold in Alaska and sometimes it is better to go out into the bookstores instead of being miserable at home. Even if I get sick I know that I can simply walk or take a bus, or even a cab, to the bookshop and stay up there as long as I want, even until they close. Most of the time I read and play games, but at other times I will study for exams and chat with my friends who work there. This is one of my favorite pastimes and I am frequently seen at many shops.

Jesus is Lord - Celebrate Easter

He was the Greatest man in history, named Jesus, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no Army, yet Kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. He is risen and sitting at the right hand of God interceding for those who have repented and accepted him into their hearts. He fills the void in your heart that you tried to fill with all the world has to offer and you were still discontented. Everything we buy to make us happy fades after awhile and we start looking for something else. With Jesus in your heart, you aren't looking for more to fill that void, you have peace and contentment and a joy unspeakable and full of Glory.

Topamax Lawsuit

Have you heard about the Topamax lawsuit? It would appear that mothers using Topamax while pregnant may have delivered babies with cleft palate or cleft lip. In many cases studied, this seems to be a bad side effect of this drug. If you have suffered the shock of delivering your beautiful baby with such a congenital deformity, it may be to your advantage to contact O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers – 808 West Avenue, Austin, TX. 78701 – 512-494-9949. They are expert attorneys that may decide that your baby's deformity could have been caused from this drug and not from anything you may have done while pregnant. You will find them understanding and will give you a free consultation. They may also be able to obtain some compensation for you after investigating your case.

Frozen Bread and Rolls

Have you ever let frozen bread thaw and rise? It tastes just like homemade bread when it is baked. However, you do not have to do all the hard work of making the bread. Frozen cinnamon rolls are great too. I knew a lady who was known for her wonderful cinnamon rolls. I found out when she died that she always used frozen ones from the store. What a shock that was. I thought "I can do that". The next time I need some cinnamon rolls for something special, I will buy the frozen ones in the store :0)

Quick Easy Supper

Making a roast for supper is one of the easiest meals I can make. I brown a nice roast and put it in the crockpot. Set it on low and a few hours later, add onion, carrots and potatoes. The house always smells as wonderful as the food tastes. You can't beat the gravy you make from it. It is easy cleanup too after supper because you don't have lots of pots and pans to clean. I am planning to make one for Sunday night. Thinking about it makes me hungry :0)
