Tex Mex Night Tonight

We are going out for Tex Mex tonight. I have been thinking about it all day. Trying to decide which dish I am going to have. You have a number of choices so you can have something different every time you go there. The waitress is a special friend and she is always glad to see us and misses us if we skip a week. It is nice to know you have friends when you go there that you see regularly. It is a beautiful sunny day today and great weather for traveling a little ways from home.

Puppy Love

As we were growing up, we had a number of puppies. They of course, grew up into dogs and we taught them tricks. We had one that pulled us down the long drive on our sled in the winter. We loved each one of them. Here is one of our little great grandsons with the dog he loves.

70th Birthday Open House

We went to an Open House yesterday. It was an invitation to help a lady in our church celebrate her 70th birthday. I felt it was a bit young for an Open House. It seems most people wait until they are 80. But then again, a lot of people don't reach 80. Therefore, maybe it is a good idea. We had lots of good food to eat and it was like a family reunion for her with many of her family coming and also friends she went to school with.

Friendship

I have a good friend I worked with for many years and since I have retired, I still keep in touch with her and we exchange gifts at Christmas and our birthdays. Wednesday, we are going to Sally's Restaurant for her famous hot beef and exchange gifts with my friend. They have the most wonderful pies too of all kinds. My favorite is coconut cream pie.
